The 10-Minute Beauty Routine to Look Good on Your Next Zoom Call

The 10-Minute Beauty Routine to Look Good on Your Next Zoom Call

Most of us have been working from home for a few months now and for a lot of us, the switch to being able to work out of your own home was new and exciting at first but the excitement is starting to wear off. With client calls, company meetings, happy hours, and even special announcements all being done virtually, Zoom is now giving us something to look forward to, and with a little help from our favorite products, it’s takes less than 10-minutes to look great on video!

Always Start Your Day with a Morning Skincare Routine

Now is the time to be giving your skin some extra TLC, especially with so much of your time being spent indoors! Start by washing your face with a purifying cleanser, lathering on the moisturizer, applying Vitamin C serum, and giving yourself a facial massage to get your blood moving!

Apply a BB Cream

When you're working from home and on camera, you don't need as much coverage as a foundation provides you with. Instead, use a BB Cream to even out your skin tone and give yourself a little extra coverage.

Get a natural, no-makeup makeup look with the V Kosmetik BB cream! Available in five different shades, it helps hydrate and protect the skin with glowing, radiant coverage.

Not sure which shade works best for your complexion? Follow this step-by-step guide!

Brighten Your Under Eye with Concealer

Working from home can be exhausting, especially when you add in homeschooling your children, keeping your home clean, and spending time with your family. By applying concealer under your eyes, you'll look like you're wide awake, even if you only got a few hours of sleep!

Use Bronzer on the Perimeter of Your Face

Webcams can give the face the illusion of one-tone, making you look colorless. To help give you more color and dimension, apply bronzer to the areas of your face the sun would normally fit: under the cheekbones, top of your forehead, below the jaw, and on the top of the nose.

Add Blush and Highlighter to the Cheeks

Blush instantly gives you the perfect kiss of color and makes you look more alive on your Zoom call! When applying blush and highlighter for a call, always add a little extra than you normally would, as webcams tend to dull colors. Once you've applied your blush, tap a little highlighter on the top of your cheekbones to help your face pop!

Fill in Your Brows

Use our Brow Fixx Brow Gel or Eyebrow Kit, fill in any sparse areas of your brows to give them a fuller look. This will help define your face and emphasize your eyes. If you have a long day of meetings and virtual happy hours, use a setting gel to hold them in place.

Apply Mascara

When you're going to be on a video call, skip the eye shadow since it will be hard to see on camera and instead, opt for a generous coat or two of mascara to really open up your eyes. If you want to take the extra step, line your upper waterline with black or brown eyeliner!
